THAT is what sucks the most! Thank god I have beads to keep me occupied, I hope Jamie has something she can do to keep her mind off of not physically doing things. Swimming is good if she has access to water. It doesn't hurt the way impact sports (even walking) does.

i'll have to remind her - i know she went looking for a swimsuit when she got there - really confused the store clerks, as it was January in Seattle - but i know they have access to a hot tub.

A hot tub would probably be so soothing to her, physically and mentally. But for exercise (which she's probably dying to do) a pool or calm ocean is wonderful. Make sure she doesn't over-do it though, if you don't normally swim you use muscles you don't normally use and she can get pretty sore. Let me know how everything goes Vicki, I'm pulling for her.
