Request for Help (Rebekah Auctions)

Sep 13, 2004 19 Replies

Hi guys,

I need to ask a favor for the Rebekah auctions. We (Candice and I) need someone to loan or possibly donate a AA battery charger and four rechargable batteries for the camera. The camera literally eats batteries. The rechargable batteries and base would be a godsend.

If anyone can help, please email me and we'll work out the details.

If I had one, it would be yours. The camera we have now takes a weird battery.

I'll check to see if anybody here has one.

Word of advice - get a card reader. The cost is generally less than $25 for a reader and you can download the pictures from the card to the computer via the reader. You can also delete the pictures from the card with that as well.

The camera I use also has a reputation for being a battery muncher but I have absolutely no complaints. The only time I use the batteries is when I'm actually taking pictures.

Does the camera take an AC power source? Mine does -you can plug in the camera and use it sans batteries.

LMK.. Barb

Yes, it does take one--Adam looked to see if we had the right type of plug end for it, but we don't:(

What voltage do you need? I might have one around.

BTW - We have had the answer to the battery charger. One is on it's way. Thank you RCB angels.

I think it's 4.3...but if we have a solution to the battery problem, then we're cool:)

(For those of you who are boycotting WalMart, forgive me)

$18.99 or for $58.63 you can get the reader PLUS a SanDisk 256 MB card (and that's an excellent deal!)

What make/model cam is it?

However, whilst I thought I could be an RCB angel and get this for ya, it's a little out of my price range right now. Sorry sweets.. :-(

could they be any more insanely priced? Sheesh! Thank you for even trying, Barbara:)

Maybe you can luck out on eBay?

I can get one cheaper at Radio Shack. That's where I go for all my wiring needs almost 100% of the time.

Please email me your address. I have the battery solution if you still need it.

Thanks Lori, but my solution arrived in the mail yesterday:)
