I needed a couple of things from Rio Grande. I hate placing a small order, but I didn't want to wait until I had some extra money because who knows when that will be, so I made the call.
So, I'm talking with this very nice lady and she asks if I have an e-mail address. I spell it out for her, and when got to the beadbimbo part, she starts laughing. I said, "Well, I make beads, and it kind of fits.................." and she's still laughing, so I add, "Well, thanks, my husband thought it up." and she starts laughing even harder.
Then, one of the things I ordered was out of stock, but she got flustered and said they were, "out of town". Then we're both laughing, and I said, "Oh really, now where did they go? On vacation?"
She got to the second thing I ordered and said, "Well, let me see if they're...............(pause)....." and I couldn't help myself and piped up, "out of town, too?" and we both start laughing again.
I never knew placing a phone order could be this much fun!
