secondhand shopping

My sister-in-law is off to London as her daughter is having a baby Christmas Eve. We whipped up some small gifts-beaded phone tags-and she offered to go to the bead shops in London to repay me. I was a bit doubtful, thinking, "They are expensive if I can't think how to use the beads." then we both said, second hand shopping!!I doubt if she will have Shirley's luck but it is something for her to do as she takes her eldest grand daughter out for walks. They live on the outskirts and there are 4 shops of the Op shop type nearby.

Cheers, Jan

You can sometimes get some good finds in the charity shops. Jumble sales if there are any. Table top and car boots sales. At this time of the year there are often church bazaars.

I know it was June but I got some good silver buy from the church flower festival.

A good rummage in the second hand shops can reveal good things. I wish her luck in her search Shirley
