Quick question ... as a matter of curiosity and of the highest scientific research. How many of you pronounce it Donkey to rhyme with Monkey ... and how many of you pronounce it Donkey to rhyme with Honky? It is these questions that plague me in the middle of the night when most of you are asleep and blissfully unaware of the importance of these matters as they relate to the grand scheme of things. That said ... shall we sally forth?
Did you know that three hairs taken from the shoulders of a donkey could cure whooping cough? Yes indeedy folks. It's true. Of course ... the sex of said donkey had to be the opposite of the sex of the sufferer ... else it would not work.
How many of you, I wonder, know how the donkey earned his reputation for stupidity. Methinks this makes for a title that could be a tad reminiscent of Aesop's fables. In any case ... it seems that one day God asked the donkey his name and the poor beast could not remember. Hence perhaps the expression: Dumb-ass.
It is at times quite difficult to come up with information about a piece of jewelry since the description is at best sparse. I will give you a verbatim quote here in an effort to explain the true meaning of "no info available hunny bunny." I quote: "The extremely happy young donkey with a ruby eye in 18 K yellow gold." That's it. The end. Nothing more. Nada mas. Rien de plus. Nichts mehr.
And so ... in the spirit of sparseness ... and because Mother's Day rushes are taking their toll on me ... I will make this shorter than short and beg forgiveness for my sparseness.
