Good evening folks, For the past couple of weeks I've received two rather vituperative emails from a Lisa Gilbode strongly advocating that I cease posting Tidbits to this newsgroup. I do not know if she's a moderator or simply an individual elected to speak for the group. So ... rather than intrude into an area in which I'm not wanted ... I would like to suggest that those of you interested one way or another either email me directly or--preferably--post your views directly to the group in answer to this question. If you want me to continue posting ... post I will. If you want me to stop ... I will of course stop. I do not want to be invasive. Please let me know one way or another. Thank you. Hi Benjamin,
This person hangs her hat on another news group.
rec.crafts.rubberstamps
Do you post tidbits there?
BTW, I always read your articles and check out the graphic accompanying it.
for what it's worth, I never heard of Lisa Gilbode... and I would like to say that as far as *I* am concerned, you just keep right on posting. this is, after all, an Open forum, isn't it?
No clue who Lisa is but she definitely doesn't speak for all of us. I enjoy reading your tidbits, and do hope you'll continue to post here. We're not moderated, so if she's lurking she can remember the great Internet adage....don't like it, don't read it!
Thanks for your wonderful Tidbits.
I dislike them intensely, but this is an open newsgroup. Post away.

posting them here is a violation, it's not about beads - you didn't list it as "off topic" - which technically might allow you to post -- but basically what you post is a waste of time probably.....
generally - I just hit delete I don't waste my time and energy bitching at people for what they post - it's much faster just to hit DELETE and I bet most people do the same Cheryl of DRAGON BEADS Flameworked beads and glass
Benjamin - anyone who casually uses the word, vituperative in a sentence makes me very happy! Please continue to post, and also, thanks for checking. That was very sensitive of you.
It's an open forum. Technically it should be posted as OT, but just about everybody who's been in a newsgroup of this sort very long knows what Tidbits is. Those that don't like it kin hit delete. Them that do hit launch. Never heard of Lisa. Doesn't sound very friendly.......... Barbara Dream Master

I believe Tidbits has been posting here since before I came here a few years ago. I have never had any problem with it - and I think it was pretty presumptuous of Lisa to email you and tell you to stop posting it here. She doesn't speak for the group - I am not sure I even know who she is. As far as I am concerned, post it. Most of the time it has stuff about jewelry and/or beads, so it's on topic. If it isn't on topic maybe think about an OT or AD once in awhile. Otherwise, no big deal, in my view.
I like Tidbits. I even receive it via email. I often don't have time to read it all, but I like it.
Lisa doesn't speak for this group. No one person does. I don't even know who she is, and I'm pretty active here. LOL! I don't mind seeing Tidbits here at all.
A quick note to all of you to thank you for your support. All the best, Benjamin
A quick note of thanks again for your support. I had wriitten from a remote computer and that's why I'm thanking you again. Best wishes, Benjamin _________________________________________________ SIGN UP FOR OUR FREE E-MAIL NEWSLETTER: TIDBITS Available From Our Home Page At:
