What's the next stage beyond KLUNK!?!?!?

I almost got convicted of assault upon a Royal Mail office worker when I went to the Post Office today. She produced a box that said 'Deepwood Art' on it, and I must have looked like the biggest kid in the world when I realized it was my beads from Fran.

And boy howdy were they beads! She put in a few extras that I can't even begin to describe, I'm that close to tears here. I just have to say that I wish I were a Scythian princess so I could be buried with these beads when I go. They're just that great.

Thanks, Fran.

My understanding is that Klunk is for objects we see online. We all know its virtually impossible to truly capture a beads beauty digitally. So, when we

*do* get to see a bead in person the only possible higher praise is to rhapsodize about the thing of beauty in a slightly incoherent, gibbering kind of way. You did well. ;-) Diana

I'm always in awe of our good ole USPS AND your Royal Mail. They always come through with flying colors!!!

I'm so glad the booty arrived safe and sound and that you liked it! The pleasure was all mine, believe me! :) :) :)

Kalera taught me all I need to know about gibbering.

I am taking notes. Having won my first bid on a bead that I lust for I want to do it justice and gibber well when it gets here. Diana

Yes, it is your rose. :-) I keep opening the auction page to look at it. Even DH, who has no interest in beads was impressed. You may be surprised what Im choosing to put it into. The necklace is from the 70s, and rather rustic. I keep seeing the wooden beads and providing a perfect foil for the polished sparkle an soft pink of the rose. I can hardly wait till it gets here, just a few more days! Yippeeee! Diana

I think that's totally cool. I'd love to see a photo when you're finished.
