I liked your idea to applique the tree trunk, however I have never done that before. I do understand the concept though. I was wondering if you would know if there was a website with some sort of instruction on how to applique. I haven't had much luck with different classes at the local dealer since I did not buy my machine(designer 1) from there. It was given to me by mother ( who never used it) who lives several states away. My dad bought it for her before he passed away a few years ago and she never bothered to learn how to use it. Everything I have learned, I learned on my own. Any help would greatly be appreciated. TIA!
