Embroidered Christmas cards?

Have any of the group made thier own embroidered christmas cards, and if soany useful pointers?

Yes I have made several. I usually buy the apertures but you can cut yourown out if you have any cutters and card. I usually make embroidery to fitsize of aperture and then ad a sticker on the front Merry Xmas or somethingand assemble it with double sided tape. They are all personalised to thepersons I am sending to. I have some friends who are not religious and Ichoose something not too religiious for them and not always a Christmasycolour for somw.   Some make up into picutres.   I then type up an insertand put that inside. The message is personal again, sometime I put a poem inon birthdays. As our name is Hall I sometimes add 'Deck the Halls' for theoutlaws.Do you want any more than that if so just ask.Liz

Yes, I did mail it with regular stamps and my friend got it. I used fabric and stitched the address in it. If you want to see the pic, write me and I'll send you. Maybe you got an error message, because you should sign to the Yahoogroup Mitzi
