A couple of weeks ago I asked the group if anyone had problems removing the needle from the Brother 2003 D machine. I had to leave town unexpectedly and didn't get back in time to see if I had any replies. Has anyone had a problem with the needle sticking so tightly in their machine that a pair of pliers was needed to get it out?

It happened to me once only.

I have problems with all needles because when I grip anything the fingers go numb.
I use a pair of rather ancient fishing scissors ( fawceps ?/). They are the things that fishermen use to grip the hook to take it out. It seems to be an ideal tool for sewing machine needles as they click together sos you can hold them one handed.

I haven't had real sticking problems, but I have ulnar nerve damage, so I have a problem with gripping things anyway. I use a pair or curved forceps to remove needles.
