where have all the good posters gone?

Since I had some 25-30 spammers over the weekend & earlier this week, I have only seen 2 posts. I am contacting the "authorities" to see what can be done. Emily

Tell me too when you find out. It is really annoying. And instead of all of us using killfile everytime one shows up, we should be able to block them from posting.

Usenet has no rules and none can be enforced. Your ISP has no time and cannot care.

Learn to use your browser features, get a thicker skin, or get out.

Sorry. It's the truth.

I only made a statement, I certainly did not ask for anyone's advice, not even yours. Emily

Do you speak English or have any knowledge of the language you speak?

Did you see the question mark at the end of you subject header? You asked a question.

Does your spouse allow you to open the mailbox? Do you scream and cry each time you get some junk mail too?

Did you know this group was about embroidery? Did you know your post was just spam/trolling/ranting? You pick.

BTW: Another friendly word of advice for your best interest.

Unless you want to get over a few hundred spam emails each day in your email inbox you need to scramble your email address you use.

The one I previously used gets over 200 spam emails per day. It is absolute garbage now.

Did you get up on the wrong side of the bed? There is no excuse for your hostility or spiteful comments. Just because someone gets annoyed with spammers doesn't mean they have thin skin. We just don't like wading through the crap to read the posts. Your attitude is unecessary and uncalled for.

That is a matter of opinion. If you would kindly reread the OP question and lies associated with it you wouldn't talk so ignorant.

I don't like spam or trolling either. Stop doing it please.

Thanks, Kirsten for your support. BTW, what have you sewn this weekend, or did the girls take over? I tried out the embroidery on the new BL and the stitching is gorgeous. But then, the Pfaff also does beautiful embroidery, too. DS just wanted me to update, I guess, and this machine has so many more options, I'm glad he gave it to me. After all, Pfaff quit making the

7560-7570 series several years ago. Emily

Thanks for asking. I finished a fleece set for my dd #3 (who is 9). It was a fleece jacket with a horsy print. I embroidery a horse on the pocket and made a sort of crest on the chest with our last name and horseshoes. Then I embroidered the shadow of a horse on the headband with her name across the top and bottom as topstitching. And there was a pair of mittens. I also made nightgown and half a pair of pajamas for me, and embroidered 3 RTW items as birthday gifts for family. What did you make?

Get nasty, huh? I not only speak English, I have a Master's in English & History; I taught for over thirty years, and only retired when a student seriously & permanently injured my arm. I became a widow several years ago and reside with a son who is a computer analyst & expert. I have sewn for over 65 years, making my first dress at age 9. I got my first embroidery machine some 9-10 years ago and received a 2nd one for my 75th birthday/Christmas in 2006. My youngest DGD, who is 8, enjoys the embroidery I do on all the clothes I make for her, sometimes designing my own patterns to make certain her outfits are different from her friends.

OK then perhaps you are just stupid. I thought you may have been just having an "off" day or a bad knowledge of English grammar.

You asked a question and then when I answered you turned into a jerk.

Just what I thought. You got caught not reading the subject you are complaining about.

Trolling huh?
