I need suggestions for tinting glass for two pieces of furniture I am building, an entertainment center and a book case.
I'd like a smokey/dark tint, just to 'hide' the cabinet contents.
I'm a woodworker with no experience working with glass.
I've found what appears to be a good source 1/4" tempered glass in standard sizes, for about a third the price of custom work which allowed tinting as an option.
Is tinted film my only choice?
