2006 JCS Ornie issue

Someone on another group mentioned this and I wondered if anyone here had any more info on it. I looked on the JCS website (I really wish they had a better site) and it looks like I am going to pass this year. It seems to be a 'best of' issue with re-runs of ornaments from past issues put together in a 10th anniversary special and the price is going to be $20. If there are going to be some new ones mixed in with the repeats then I might consider it but I don't think I want to spend that much money to get new copies of charts I already have.

My understanding was that this $20 item is a book, not the ornament issue.

I know for a fact that there will be some new ornaments. I did the finishing work on one of them and I am pretty sure the designer said it had to be to the magazine by early May. CiaoMeow >^;;^<

Here's the scoop. The 10th Anniversary Collection is a compilation of ornaments from past issues. Most are from the 90s and those Ornament issues are sold out. There are people who never got or didn't know about the Ornament issue back then and have requested some sort of reprint.

The 2006 Ornament issue will still be printed this year. It should be available maybe September time frame. Don't hold me to that because I'm at home and don't remember the print schedule.

Thank You Janet. Since I already have all of the regular ornament issues I will pass on the Anniversary version but I am very glad to know that there will still be the regular one coming out in September.
