Advice Needed on Weeks Dye Works Thread Colours

DMC is making a floss called Color Variations that resembles an overdye. Perhaps one of their colors would match nicely.

I have a LYS that would work with you. They don't have an internet buying site, but they had this article about them and it includes their email and other info. They are very helpful. Their Weeks Dye Works thread is right there by their check out area, just a toss from the puter and the phone...lol

I'm very peeved about the INS's I've tried. I'm not happy with my LNS. The service there is brusque and occasionally just plain rude and the selection is limited. I'm all set to transfer my loyalty to an INS, if I could just find a good one.

Hi Barbara - I too am in Australia and find that the ladies at "the crewel goblin" (Sydney) are just wonderful in helping me to match things up, and as I am in Perth I may as well be in another country! I've emailed and called this store and have only good things to say about my interactions. There is another INS based in Perth which would appear to have a range of threads, but I have never dealt with them, and the name escapes me at the moment.

I think I know the one in Perth you are talking about. I came across them at a craft show. I can't remember their name either!

The Crewel Goblin was one of the first places I tried. Since you've had good experiences with them, perhaps my e-mail simply went astray. I might give them a call.
