aplique with Colored Ribbons

I do many works where i aplique colored ribbons of all sorts unto my work , sometimes as a decorative line sometimes as part of a Figurative ellement , sometimes i cut out elongated `ribbons` from a piece of cloth that interests me ... how many use that kind of work in their craft.
