? quilt show ribbons

Does anyone have a good source for ordering quilt show ribbons? I'm in charge of the Guild quilt show and will need ribbons.

Many of the ribbons I've seen are made by the guild members. Usually they are a gathered rosette type thing with the ribbons hanging down from the rosette. Quite often the ribbons will have a very small quilt block made into them or stamped on them or the rosette part will be a very small quilt block with the ribbons hanging down from the block. The ribbon part will have the year, the guild's name and Best of Show, First Place, etc. on them- often embroidered by machine. Not much help as far as ordering some- sorry. I can't help you there.

I see you are in the same area of Virginia as I am. If you are in PPQG, you might want to talk to the people who did the recent Challenge. They had beautiful home made ribbons, and maybe you could buy ribbons from the same people.

Check the yellow pages for trophy shops in your area.

Yes, Pat, I belong to PPQG. I entered the challenge and yes, the ribbons were beautiful. I think Susan and Bonnie coordinated the challenge, I'll ask at the next Guild.
