Joy embroidery

I started to get little pieces of embroidery [ of all kinds, crewel , surface , xst etc] as well as little woven , knitted and crocheted pieces , i wondered for a long time what to do with them. Played with an idea to make a big `crazy quilt` kind of wall piece, changed my mind. in the mean time stored those pieces in big plastic jars, which i stored on a long shelf high in my workroom.....looking at it mooving the jars , kept telling me i want to make something with all those pieces of friendship, of thank yous, of good wishes. But if i make it. will it keep well ? I went back to my " Fabrics Remember Album " concept. A `cloth page` for each work. Laying the various pieces on a table with `cloth pages`, No, it wasbn`t what i wanted to make. But at the same time i work on another fiberart work which i divided into 12 parts... The answer lay before my eyes....... I now know that i will prepare a background material and aplique all those parts in such manner that this will be foldable as well as hangable.

Now that's what I call creative ;-)

A friend of mine has been making embroidery books -- each book has a theme and each page is intricately stitched and embellished.
