Planning a new xst part of a work

I am now planning a new big work and it will include xst parts , but i still haven`t worked out the Final size of the finnished work.... Thus the sizes of the xst are still unclear. But i have / want to start with them ... my possible solutions , cut some pieces with the Biggest possible size , i might have in mind and start working at one side or the middle? make many small items and later connect them with over stichres ? mirjam

I've recently been introduced to the concept of 'slips' -- a fancy name for stitched pieces that are later attached to the background fabric. It seems like this might be the way for you to proceed.

Thank you Anne , that was is indeed my solution, One good thing at doing both art as well as curating , is that i am extremely aware of The How to show /display work as well as How to transport it ,,,,, Thus My solution is to make even the big background parts in sections ,,, mirjam
