if you view it full size you can see the detail of the quilting, there is just a tiny bit where I might go and stitch in the ditch to insure that if it gets washed and if it shrinks that one of the lines that isn't in the ditch won't get distorted, but other than that it's done.

nzlstar* this is the one with the border I was fighting, as you can see it's entirely quarter square triangles, I faught with it enough to get it on how it is, with the points pretty well matched, but it was obvious a 2nd wouldn't go on without major loss of flatness in the quilt top, so I stopped whilst the going was good. However when it game to squareing up, there was no way I was going to be able to get all the points 1/4 inch in from the edge, so I deliberately did a wider binding so all the points got chopped off, the way the two fabrics blend, I don't think you really notice and when you do, the final result still looks good imho.

It's my first time working with batiks and I am pleased! I'm particularly pleased with the outer pink triangles, which were another reason not to put on another border, I don't think it would have worked to switch back to the other pink, it would have made this one get lost. The fabric was variagated over it's width, so I cut the triangles from a strip, stacked carefully, then laid out disgarding some where the colour changed slowly and carefully matching the corners.

hey, Anne, great job there. those points only look nipped off cuz of the binding covering them. squinting to see the quilting here, even size increased the window, lol. i like the spirals with wiggles (cant think what they're really called) round them. the lines thru the geese work too. i just cant tell what the middle quilting is, no worrys tho. still looks pretty damn good from here. :)) really pretty batiks too. works for me. groggy in the south pacific, jeanne you asked for it, so here it is
