Boy, the weather all over the place seems to have been wild lately. Karen has been having high winds and snow, Sheena and Cheryl and the other nor-easterners have had storm after storm, and today it's wind.
The last three days have been amazing - we've set record high temps for this time of the year - +14C, and today we are having steady winds of 85 kph with gusts to 111 kph. The temps are due to dip to freezing tonight.
The DH took the motorcycle to work yesterday, but today I insisted he take the car so he doesn't get blown off the road. We couldn't even put the garbage out this morning, as the bags kept blowing down the street. Once the wind has dropped some I'm going to go out and take a look to make sure we haven't lost any shingles. One house down the street is already missing a patch.
I'm going to settle in to some stash sorting and organizing.
Yup - that's the ticket - a cup of tea and my floss boxes.
