I was doing that years ago! The one that went best was a huge red poppy on a black Mohair sweater!

Sadly, not here in Florida!! It has been over 100 degs ecery day for at least two months now! I can't even "think" sweater without breaking out in a sweat!

It`s around 68 degrees here - quite pleasant - pouring with rain, though. I hope it stops before Carolyn and co. arrive. Have a look at your wallpaper - that will make you feel cooler.

Yup - I've started seeing some models in the LKS, but, even in the metro DC area - we're kind of like Gil. It's been so hot & humid the last few weeks I couldn't think about touching my knitting. Even the ribbon scarf. But, finally overnight it cooled down, and should be pleasant in the 80s for a few days.

Gil - if you want to knit - for the FLA winter - have you thought of trying some of the ribbon yarns?
