Hie all,
I'm a new knitter and will soon be a new mummy. So I wanted to knit a cardigan for my baby. I've been doing okay so far but am having some trouble with the shoulder shaping. I don't quite understand what the pattern is asking me to do so I was hoping someone could help me.
The pattern is as follows,
"BO 2 sts at each side, then [dec 1 st at each side eor] twice"
What does this mean? I took the instructions to mean, BO 2 stitches at the beginning of the knit row the n BO 2 stitches at the beginning of the next purl row, purling across, then k2tog at the beginning of the knit row, knitting across and k2tog the last 2 sts. Purling the next row across, and doing the same decrease as before.
Am I correct? I am not so certain as the decrease seems quite minimal. I could really use some help.
Thanks in advance!
