Help - need pattern

Hi all, I just looked at the pattern I have for the bolero-type jacket I was going to make my DIL for Christmas - and decided that I didn't want to figure out the directions right now. I had looked online and in library books (and of course my own books) for something small, fancy/lacy and "girly" that wouldn't take too long, but couldn't find anything I really wanted. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I'd like to not spend a lot more time looking if I can use someone else's knowledge...TIA

Try glampyre knits pattern for the One Skein Wonder, noting that it's only one skein if it's a small size or a large skein. It's quick, easy and very impressive when finished. The pattern's not too expensive either

Thanks! I was on the Knitty site last night, as well as Lion and a few others. Finally did find something. I copy/paste and format patterns into Word docs and save them in a knitting patterns folder, so was able to add to that collection. Aud, I did look at that pattern - it is pretty. I was pretty much staying away from using circular needles - I think I only own one pair and have never used them. However, I knew I would get help from this wonderful group!!

Susan, to use circular needles is much easier then you think! You don't have to turn, remember! LOL! You are just knitting and knitting, just put a mark where you start, so you know where you are!! Of course we will help you, and I am sure you will love the circulars after a short while! Aud ;-)

Thank you, oh kind and thoughtful Lady of Knitting Knowledge! ;-) (can you tell I'm in a silly mood?)

Yes, I think I will get the hang of it - just not before Christmas. It is one of the knitting goals I have set for myself: learn to use circular needles - it's more an issue of having them feel comfortable in my hands - and to use dpn's and socks (done).
