Cataracts!

Apr 14, 2005 6 Replies

Not OT! DH had his first catarct done yesterday, and is practically jumping through hoops at the differemce! All the colours are so much brighter and now he sees much better without his glasses. All of which made me wonder if, when I get mine done, I`ll be horrified at the brightness of my designs! LOL! I don`t like wishy-washy, but hope I haven`t overdone it!

You'll be just fine, your designs are wonderful! Cheryl

Thanks Cheryl - someone did once comment that they were too bright, so I just wondered if it was just due to my eyes!

If they are too bright (I don't think so) you can adjust them and market them as having all new colors. My mom had her cataracts done and lenses put in so she no longer needs glasses and she is amazed. She said it was the easiest surgery with no pain or discomfort. I hope it goes as well for you.

Scared as you maybe, you will find that you have unknowingly started a new trend. Best to you and your Hubby on a safe and speedy recovery.

I had both cataracts done last year, it is marvellous what a difference it makes ! I had just about given up on all forms of sewing; now I only need glasses for close work.

Glad to hear John is enjoying a bright world!! My DH had one eye done, and was also amazed at the difference. No word, however, on when he can have the other done. My suggestion of a dashing Pirate eye patch was harrrumphed at. Dawne
