That's a shame in some ways.

To me, "workman's blue" is and will always be indigo-dyed warp, cross-woven with white weft into a sturdy shirting.
Rather a pity that stores no longer sell blue chambray. Though I doubt that I would buy any, which is probably why stores no longer stock it.

Cheryl it is no shame it is called living and progressing with life`s requirements. ps lately i noted that the name Rusty Brown diappeared as well ,,,, now it is called red brown ,,, i liked the Rusty wording ,,,, but who cares ,, there is somewhere a person or machine that think giving other names is better ,,,,,, and we learn to adjust ,, mirjam
Perhaps that's true in Haifa, but here in the United States royal blue is still a name that is commonly used. As a matter of fact, Hanes which is a very big company with worldwide distribution, has royal blue t-shirts. I happen to own one.
