Help, please...

I have two things on which I need advice, and where else would I go?? The answeres to everything is here on rctn!LOL

Is there a good framer near Hanscom AFB, Bedford, Mass? I have a small sampler which I want to have framed , so that I can mail it to my eldest granddaughter for her 13th birthday. We should be at Hanscom around Aug 9th, probably for a couple of weeks.

This also relates to the same piece of stitching. I left my Orvus home in Florida, and would like to wash this piece. It really isn't dirty, but it would freshen it up. What should I buy to use??

Just make sure that if you have metallic threads, it's not the lemon variety, which will tarnish your threads.

My framer always washes/cleans my pieces when I order my frame. Maybe you can check with the framer you find in Mass.

Yes! Kennedy Studios in Bedford. (363 Great Road, Bedford, MA, 01730,

781-275-8886) Going out of the Hartwell Ave. gate from the base, go to the end of the road and turn left at the light onto Rtes. 4&225. Take a left at the next traffic light, and then an immediate right into the small shopping center.

There's also a Corners (chain) in Burlington on the Middlesex Turnpike, but I prefer the first one.
