Use your initiative & Google. A search for "stain removal textiles" produced 374,000 hits. And don't just print out a few pages then submit them. Read a few of the pages and produce a short essay using YOUR words!

A lot of kids and young adults seem to have decided spamming ngs is a good source of info. Locally we get journalism students wanting an easy answer/poll and we got totally fed up with it. In the age of google and wikipedia, I mean to say !! Sheesh, I had to go to the library !

Yep. In another group we had someone too lazy to read our archives essentially ask us to write her term paper for her, and when we suggested she should read the archives first or go to the library, and then we'd answer any remaining questions, she huffily accused us of "acting condensing". You know me, I had to enlighten her to the spelling of condescending. :)

I made it real clear that I was not going to retype all 10,000+ pages on my bookshelf for her convenience so she didn't have to go to the library.

I guess she wanted to "act condensing", condense the archive into enough for a term paper. :-) Very odd of her to accuse you of doing just what you weren't doing.

Yep. It was actually something where I could've written her ten pages off the top of my head, but I have a thing about doing other people's homework for them.

The one time I did someone's homework for him, I really didn't do him any favors. We had to write a book review of something we'd read, and X offered me $20 to write it for him. The night before it was due, I handed him a couple sheets of paper and apologized "I didn't have time to translate it, so how about $10?" My housemate was sitting there stifling a reaction, because she knew I always wrote my German homework directly in German so I wouldn't have to waste time translating. If I'd written it in English, she knew I was up to something. (Moi????)

If he translated exactly what I'd written, he truly earned whatever grade he got. I wrote the most convoluted sentences with clauses inside sub-clauses, full of idioms that don't translate word-for-word and ten-dollar words that didn't appear in his dictionary. Definitely would've been faster to write his own paper than to translate what I wrote for him.

Last time he ever asked me to do his homework for him. :)

Locally we mostly get journalism students. They want our opinions on topical matters, it's quicker and easier than getting out on the campus and actually interviewing people.

We do give them some opinions, probably waaaay more than they bargained for, while telling them 'don't come back' - one, who thought they were pretty clever, just changed to another addy at gmail and returned again. I think that person received a horrid surprise, knew nothing about headers etc. and couldn't quite believe the pasting they received. My local group is not known for being sparing with the punches lol
