New Scrapbooker / Top Ten Supplies and a couple of other questions

Aug 05, 2003 5 Replies

Hello Everyone

I am just getting started with scrapbooking. Excluding the actual scrapbook, page protectors, and paper...what are your top ten most important tools (inexpensive) for the beginning scrapbooker. Please include what you use to organize your supplies and photos. Brand names if possible. :)

I already have the following:

fiskars paper trimmer corner rounder

1 set of letter templates
8.5 x 11 scrapbook some acid free pens some stickers basic colors in paper

Also, do you get an idea for a page then go out and buy embellishments, paper, etc. or do buy what you like and then decide to do a certain page idea?

Do you journal before or after completing a page?

Thank you so much for your help and tips. X

Tape runner... paper..... tiny nose scissors (insert teckie term here) and paper did i mention paper? Imma very messy gluer... so tape runner is the one for me i use most, specially for PP so i dont make a big ole gloopy mess of my chalking lol

Ok i go away and come back when i make sense

Hi X:>)

Welcome to the group:>)

I see others have already answered you question with anything I could suggest:>) So have fun:>)

cutter bee scissors, glue dots... regular and mini... buy yourself some fibers.. you will become addicted and its an easy way to add charachter.. try eyelets and brads .... you will find what you like quickly... adhesives are everything.. some of my older books have loose stuff because I used a zig only... you already hae a computer, so learn how to use fonts in your computer and print them out .. if you print them mirrrored reverse, you can cut them out for neat titles and if you print it on vellum with bold print, you can learn to emboss it for an awesome look!

Welcome to RCS X.
