As I was typing on reply on an OT post, I thought maybe I should make an on-topic post for every off-topic post.
Then right now, I would need to go write 3 needlework topic posts.
That would certainly increase posting.
In reality I think this would be too onerous. How about a modified version of this plan? For every newsgroup session when you write anything off-topic (limitless off-topic posts per session), you owe one on-topic post.
Running off to write about needlework now...
