Ahah, the lady that produced the fabric for many of my trousers still hanging in my closet from the 60s arises!! Seeing as how I have been chief cook and dish rinser (Casey washes what he doesn't chew) around here the last couple of days maybe I will wear the yellow bell bottoms tomorrow, for 30 seconds anyway. LOL!

Your dwelling place reminds me of a time when my DW and I were at the Sprint Car national races in Eastbay. A rookie driver went too fast around a turn, over the high embankment and out of sight, then a big cloud of steam went up into the air. The announcer said that if the driver was ok we should see him running back to the race track pretty soon because he had landed in a gator pond. Shore nuff in a few minutes the driver came running back over the embankment about as fast as he drove over it. I'm not sure if the gator pond is still there or not.

Welcome aboard Polly Ester!!!

So whereabouts are you? I, too, am a Katrina survivor, but I live above the water level so only see alligators at the zoo or on a swamp tour.

Visitors, now, we see those in all varieties. Most are tame, but there are occasional rogue ones and they can be really dangerous.
