Ooooh....gorgeous designs. But not Jacobean. More "Arts & Crafts" (or is that Art Neuveau?
The larger design would be stunning as an applique.

Yes Art Nouveau for sure. Great link for those ! Got my attention with the Jacobean line though ! I do not have use for the other at the moment but still still working on the Jacobean piece on my floor frame every day~ although you can hardly see the difference after hours ! I had a question on it and sent an email to Roseworks where the idea came from and they got right back to me. They used a term rather loosely and I thought it was an actual stitch so confused for a moment. It was just a technique called something new. The term was vertical pad stitch. It turned out to be just a padding stitch where you fill it all in with silk vertically and then cover it horizontally so rather poofy and done easily. Finally one flower I could finish in several hours time. It was rather inspirational to work more on the piece now since something actually was accomplished and looks different when I sit down ! Thanks for the site !
