Linens for the wealthy

And everyone is forgetting the law that allows manufacturers to multiply the ply by the thread count - (ie a 2 ply 300 thread count sheet is now touted as '600 thread count')

So my question is what is the ply and what is the thread count? I'll bet this is just a 4 ply, 255 thread count sheet with fancy lace on it.

Gee - another cynic! LOL I hadn't realized that about how thread counts are "juggled"

I had no idea!!

If a manufacturer can get away with it, you can bet it will and that you're right! Which goes to show, the rich can be tempted to buy anything! Just like the rest of us!!

Dianne - who's still trying to figure out how she can get hold of even the pillow cases!

I was wondering how they did it. Let's face it, if it was over 1000 thread count either the thread would have to be pretty fine, or the fabric would actually be very stiff.

Of the many one liners that have been posted in response to something someone said, I thinks that's one of the best.
