These are some of the other auctions from the seller. Not all cross-stitch, but some nice stuff.

Trying so hard to resist.........have added the au ver a soie to my watch list. Interestingly the seller will only mail to the USA (and as previously noted, at considerable cost). My sister is coming home in March.....I wonder if her luggage might swell to accommodate another of my 'must have when you come home' parcels.

You know someone in the USA who would gladly receive that package and forward it on to you. It wouldn't be a problem at all.

Hi, Elizabeth.

First, I wanted to ask you what type of dogs you have? I've often read your posts about their exploits, but I've never paid attention to the breed. Also, how old are they?

Second, thanks for your previous input. It was helpful as we grappled with our new puppy, especially with our inexperience.

Lastly, wanted to share: At 4-1/2 months, now, we are ecstatic and deeply bonded with our "Parker". I never thought this would be possible. Especially since both of us have responded so well to him and fight over who is going to take him out to do his duty!

He sits, stays, lies down, won't eat without a release. But he won't heel. We bought a new type of harness which prevents him from lunging forward (it goes across the breast bone). Just got it today and only did a short walk. Seems to be working. We'll see. Our new vet said if this doesn't work, a slip leash would be the next to try. Definitely to get him out of his regular collar, which can hurt his trachea.

We start "kindergarten" on the 21st, so that will help with his socialization and hopefully reinforce our training. I'm sure we'll get a lot of good hints.

Again, it's fun to have someone to share this with! :~)

Hi Dianne, I love Cav's - for a little dog, they have a big dog personality. Good luck with him.

Cheryl

PS - Elizabeth's dogs are great - DH jokingly calls them oversized cats, but really liked them. I laugh when they tried to herd DS - smart dogs.

Wait, Cash growled at your DH when he tried to enter his own home and DH calls him an oversized cat? *snicker* Yeah, ok. Maybe next time I won't shush Cash quite so quickly... LOL!

You should see what cats do when he's around.

I like Cavs too, my neighbour has two, wonderful little souls. I think they are a bit willful at first but so long as you remain the boss, they train nicely.
