Who cares? We don't come to Usenet to look for things to buy -- read the charter. r.c.t.marketplace is the only appropriate newsgroup for that kind of spam.

If it is merely a "snapshot" of what is currently popular, I think it is ok. Personally, I don't think she's trying to sell anything. But some additional commentary would have been nice

After all, we all enable each other with links to things we are doing or think are really neat.... C

Actually, I thought it was kind of interesting - and you can check out other categories as well. For example, I never would have known about the huge lots sale going on that are popular in cross stitch. . . not that I have $400 sitting around to buy it anyway LOL!

Except none of us, when doing that, have any financial interest in people buying from the source we point to. It's a very thin line. I get the feeling Melinda has been part of group that has been overrun, as have I, and knows if you don't defend it, lose it !

Actually, one of the strangest and most interesting eBay searches is "NTSA"

- the things taken at airport security (rightly or wrongly). Any one want to go in on a lot of scissors?

Yeah, that is a LOT of scissors, LOL! Actually, there are several collections that include "iris scissors," which are great for snipping threads in Hardanger.

Honestly, I've thought about getting one of the "small scissors" lots. Never again to be with out a pair.....

I've also considered the lots of "Swiss Army" knives and the small leather tools for various males in the house...

I am sure one of those scissors is a pair of mine taken in the Portland airport after both Boise and Lewiston let them thru, Grrrr. Deb

If you do, I'll be glad to take all the teeny tiny ones with the sharp scissors off your hands. More scissors to keep in more WIPs!
