Magazines

I have a ton of them. So much so, that it would be prohibitive to ship any given series. However, I'd be willing to send a copy or two to someone looking for an issue.

Creative Needle (from about 1996) Sew Beautiful (same period)

I've never seen Creative Needle - stitching or sewing (as in clothes, household items)???

I hope Pat doesn't send anything. So many here have been gracious to me through the years, so I consider it a turn of favors. I had some Hummel cross stitch, as well as some Asian designs, and when I locate them, I'll post here. I'm cleaning house. Unlike Lulu, I can't build a studio to house my "stuff", so I'm having to part with it.

"Creative Needle" is sewing mainly for young children, heavy on smocking, doll dressing. Some surface embroidery. Similar to "Sew Beautiful". Those were the days when I was heavy into this genre. I was raising infants and it seemed the thing to do at the time. I made many an outfit. But I've passed that phase and am regrouping. Seems such a shame to throw out these mags!!! They are really treasures if you are "into" this stuff. I tried advertising in Sewing World, but it seems they are gone. Not sure where else to post this. It's a pretty specific audience.

I'll be watching :)

Have you tried posting on any of the marketplace newsgroups? And yahoo has several "abandoned crafts" sales lists. I can send you the names of the one I watch. Those magazines sound like they need a good home!

If you find any Asian designs, please think of me.
