metal rings for Floss Away bags

May 04, 2009 3 Replies

Hi--

Does anyone know the technical term for those hinged metal rings that come with the Floss Away bags? They have a notched closure on them; they are not the rings that come with key chains that you have pry apart then slide the key all the way around to put it on the ring.

I would like to buy some, but don't know what they are called.

Thanks.

Never mind. I learned they are often called "loose leaf rings" and are available at Office Depot or Office Max in a wide variety of sizes.

Are these what you're looking for?? Staples calls them loose leaf rings, but I'd never heard that term before...

Those are what I use - for all manner of things. Floss bags, the time I got the kit all on bobbins, storage for large lobster claw clasp..... Endlessly useful things
