The best shops in the Twin Cities and surrounding suburbs are:

Which leaves Frames and Stitches (8046 Brooklyn Blvd, Brooklyn Park -

(17760 Highway 7, Minnetonka - 's (13710 Nicollet Ave., Burnsville - wife and I really like "Frames and Stitches" and Zandy's. We find thestaff quite helpful, the service excellent, and more than adequate supplies. While many stitchers will rave about Stitchville, they have treated me (a male stitcher) by looking down their nose at me and have asked if I really knew what my wife wanted. They are snobbish, discourteous, and the weekend staff doesn't have a clue as to what is going on. This was a direct quote: "ha, ha, you just got the weekend crew and we don't know much". Take your own chances.

Let met set you very straight on this shop. Terri did open a flower shop and allowed Jennifer Skiff to open a cross stitch area in the back of the shop. Jennifer runs the Cross Stitch Shop (Friends and Threads). Jennifer is in the process of trying to obtain space she can rent to have just her cross stitch shop and move away from Terri. We all think the new shop will be in Woodbury just off of Valley Creek Drive. There is a lot a stress and tension going on right now and that is why I did not mention this shop previously.

A new shop in Woodbury would be FANTASTIC, since I work off Radio Drive!! No more driving 45+ minutes to Stitchville!! :-))
