Oh we'll have to remind on another. I'm in the heart of S. Central Texas. It's barely been below 70F the entire winter. It goes down at night, but not an ounce of humidity. I think my juices are drying up! My eyes are dry enough to need drops three or four times a day. And, injury to insult, my parrot accidentally scratched my eyeball with her tooth. That's what we call her beak! Her big tooth!
You definitely have my sympathies. It was a chilly, rainy 40 degrees (F) here today. It may sound crazy to those of you in colder climates, but I curled up like a big fat cat on the sofa and just luxuriated in the cold weather. I can't wait to snuggle down into my flannel sheets tonight with hubby (in the summer I contemplate making him sleep on the floor).
I do the same thing. I pray for gray, wet, chilly weather. If we don't get it, the grasshoppers take over and for some reason I'm petrified of grasshoppers. Of course, the hoppers here in Texas are 4 inches long and they are thick!
We have a cold front coming in, so it will be down into the 60s. I am here for 13 years from living in NY till I was 37. I am frozen solid when I go back up to NY now! Even in summer it feels chilly to me.
