Off to Lizard Land Tomorrow

Hi Guys, Well, it's off to L.L. tomorrow afternoon. I got all mu clothes and needlework and quilt stuff etc. packed into one big suitcase! If it gets lost, I am totally S.O.L.! I have both the Spring & Summer bell pulls in there, the Curtiss P-40 for DH that Janet bought all the stuff for and the plastic canvas kitty design tissue box cover! I have my travel piece in my needlework bag so I will have something to work on during the flight. Besides all the needlework stuff, I have FINALLY gotten all the different kimpno silks cut out to make myself the jacket I have been planning for umpty-million cat years now! Imagine that! don't want THAT stuff to get lost either. I'm not much worried about the clothes -- those are easily replaced. I have my meds in my needlework bag along with a change of underwear. I'm good to go as soon as I get the last of the ironing done. Lordy I'm tired -- been at it all day. Gotta remember to call Rachel when I get to L.L. She's gonna be gone in early August but we are planning a meet when she gets back. I am more than READY for the cool, dry mountain weather! I'll be able to get e-mail, etc. whenever I get to DD's which will likely be about every 3 weeks. I can access the group from Google when I get online so I will say Hi every now and again. Have fun while I'm gone :-). CiaoMeow >^;;^<

Well - you do sound prepared - at the least!

Good for you. Maybe you'll inspire me to finish my jacket with the Laurel Birch mythical horses, and the layered ribbons & organza. It does have the Japenese fabric lining!

OK - I know the cool weather isn't what you're planning in LL! But, just remember - it's always a "dry heat" .

Have a great time - no doubt you will. Happy & safe travels, Ellice ( a little jealous, who really wanta a job so we can then go away somewhere - like her old stomping grounds in NM, or NC)
