I didn't do a heck of a lot better with this, then I do with geography, even though I was at several of the places that I answered incorrectly like Times Square and the Leaning Tower of Pisa.

I got 14 out of 16 - I missed the Bush Ranch and Wrigley Field. Did you notice that the shadows in the Times Square picture seemed to go two different directions?

I got the Alamo because I found the monument that stands across the street.

They also spelled Niagara Falls wrong. They left out the second a.

I passed that street a gazillion times and couldn't recognize it from that odd angle. I think the shadows look so strange because most of the cross-town streets in Manhattan are very narrow, while the north/south streets are wide and the buildings are very tall and cramped edge to edge and create that illusion.

I can't believe I *got* Times Square, never having been there or even seen a picture of it! I guessed it from the grid pattern of the streets and thought 'Hm... New York?'. Wow!

That was a fun quiz because you had to look at each picture and figure it out from what you could see and what you know. I'm a global know-it-all too and I'm *amazed* I scored so well, considering the sheltered life I've led! =:-0
