One of you will have an idea

I have a little Lizzie Kate kit of a dog in a Santa hat I'm making up for DD. It includes a pompon for the top of the hat, but I really don't want to use it.

I have a reasonable range of fuzzy flosses I can get my hands one. Thoughts about a different approach or a stitch to use. While I'm currently working in hand, I can put it in a hoop easily enough.

Thanks

Turkey work....then cut the loops. I've done that before on an ornament, and works like a charm with plain floss, so I imagine it'll be really cool with a fuzzy floss.

My thoughts exactly. Sue just got there first.

Ah, Sue. Great minds think alike. You were just faster.

Definitely turkey work. I'll just comment that it's always fun the first time you deliberately cut your stitching.

I'm thinking that, but while out and about, I saw some hats with tassels and that would look cool (especially with fuzzy stuff) and look very "hockey too!
