Thought this was thought provoking ....

The biggest problem with having an opinion is: One doesn't have to have any knowledge to have one.

Amen!

I've read only snippets of the last two "long" threads. I refuse to have an opinion of either of them.

Or the old (slightly paraphrased) saying, "Opinions are like (insert body part here); everybody has one or two."

-- Carey (who should probably keep hers to herself....)

So, in your opinion, they were best left alone???? (ducking) Dawne

Oh and how!

I'll disparage the programmers at AOL and Google, but never the end users. Ugly programming with no real thought about usability.

Home Schooling - I've thought about it, understand (even better than before) why some people do, scared of the ones that limit exposure to "the rest of the world" to no contact.

Toilet training - Freud has a lot to answer for.....

Cheryl

Dawne - you must have slept in the knife box last night!!!

Pat P

Because he brought all his own hangups with him to his teaching lol

But how one is/was toilet trained became linked to certain behaviors

In his opinion, but I don't hold with the idea that anything anyone does can be traced back and blamed on the parent - particularly the mother.

Not when you see how different all the children in one family can be!

Pat P

Well , Pot training for sure is in the parental field mirjam

Of course it is but children do not become serial murderers because of pottie training. I assume you did not mean pot, as in MJ heehee
