OT: Bagel Biter

How long have these been around? I love bagels (cinnamon and raisin, best of all) but used to take my life in my hands (or hand) trying to slice them. Just for the hell of it I typed "Bagel cutter" into Ebay - and lo and behold, someone was selling them, imported from the USA!How long have you lot been keeping quiet about these?I must say I think of Victoria when I use it, as it`s called a "Bagel Biter". Remember when she once said "So BITE me?" LOLOLOL! At least I don`t need to ask someone to cut them for me any more.Pat P

DH believes bagels should be PLAIN, maybe some onion, but real bagels have no extras on the inside (raisins, chocolate chips, berries).

Now, I really want to go out for bagels, but that would mean I have to get dressed.

Sounds good to me - you could obviously add whatever you like to the mix to create your favourite flavour! Basic recipe please?

Lefse is really very good--but it is rolled too thin to allow for incorporation of lumpy ingredients like chocolate chips. Some people like to butter it then sprinkle it with sugar and roll up (what good little children got from long ago grannies) Dawne.
