OT: Change the Clocks

Will something bad happen if I do it before I go to bed and don't wait for

Lol Not all of mine are -worst is the clock in the hall - in the fall when the hour goes back, I have to catch it at noon or midnight for the most simple way to alter it.

Did the gremlins get you ?? I was safe and I did some before I retired.

We did ours LAST week - when do yours go back again?

Funny you should ask. I did them before going to bed and all but one were very cooperative and didn't complain, or do anything funky. Only one, and surprisingly it was my computer, decided to spring ahead 2 hours instead of just one.

It must be the same gremlin that makes all the typing errors when I send a note !!! lol

The default for most computers is to automatically update for time changes. If you double click on the time at the lower right and choose the time zone tab there should be a box you can uncheck if you want to adjust the time yourself. (Not sure if it's the same with Mac computers.)

The typo gremlin doesn't have to share the blame this time. :o)

Not yet, but I will when I go out in a little while. Now that one is a big PITA because you need a pointy object to do it and there never seems to be one handy.

I was still awak at 2 and forgot to look at the computer clock to see if it jumped ahead at that very moment. Darn!

But that's OK, your Saskatchewanian cows can give ICE cream. :)

It is a long-standing argument in the Daylight Savings debate (which is on-going here) that to change the clocks would upset the cows. Since we don't change the clocks, at all, ever, the cows must be very very contented.

The cows in Saskatchewan that I saw, looked only too contented, standing under their huge prairie skies with puffy little clouds sailing along, they made me think of the oxen Maude Lewis used to paint.

It's not really my sort of thing either but she had a lovely touch, also with cats. She had a desperate life, nasty, bullying husband living in a house no more than 9' x 12' and unfortunately after her death he really capitalized on her paintings. I think she must have needed to paint to escape from him in a way that he could not control.
