OT: Comments about OT's

You know there's off topic and there's wildly off topic and I think people are stretching the limits this week, can we drop the preaching, the feminist issues, man-bashing, dirty jokes and comments on other people's personal lives, there are plenty of other message boards to deal with those subjects. I'm just trying to be a voice of reason here and if anyone comments on this post I will not respond to it. Let's get back to the topic we love, huh? Needlework, with a few lighthearted diversions and the occasional news about someone or something related to the group.

I agree that there do seem to be more OT posts lately than on... and I did wonder why. Julie

So - instead of moaning - start an embroidery thread. Really ! Don't be so prissy.

How about you could have started an embroidery thread too - but did you ? No. These threads have been marked OT, set your browser to ignore any threads marked OT then you can carry on as normal.

I agree ... but you can delete or ignore "OT" msgs -- which is the point of OT ... yes? I have an "OT" that will be posted on here, and it IS religious, so please just ignore it.

Don`t bother replying, Maggie - just kill the thread - it`s easy enough to do. You don`t HAVE to read it, for God`s sake! ;-P

Well, there`s only SO much you can say about stitching. If you`re on here instead of actually stitching it sort of suggests that you`re just a teensy bit bored with what you`re doing for a little while. In a "Sewing Bee" you take time out to chat and laugh, don`t you? It`s Spring - time to be a bit restless.

Then, of course some browsers will ignore everything with O, ot, - cot, dot, lot ... etc., etc., so you might miss out on something you didn`t intend to!
