They just reminded us this morning that a glass of red wine a day is good for your health. So Sheena should live forever.

But, but, but - according to the Death Clock, I'm already dead and pickled lol

You must have misunderstood. They didn't mean 1999 A.D. They meant

1999 A.S.C. (after the Second Coming)

I`d think you`d have to be a pessimist to bother with it! Talk about morbid! LOL! Live for today and just enjoy it.

But it's the good who die young---which explains why you are already dead and I have 50 more years to live???? Dawne

Something very wrong with that picture Dawne ! It's my dour, Scots mentality, it clearly killed me off and I don't even realize it lol Perhaps my kids had me freeze dried or something and I just don't realize it. There must be a logical explanation.

Well, I can testify that you look very very good for someone in you (ummmm) condition?? Perhaps you have been preserved by the wine after all. Dawne

I certainly hope. There was Admiral Nelson preserved in rum and me in wine, good company lol.

I was over in the UK for the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Trafalgar, and so I can pick a nit. Apparently Nelson's body was preserved in brandy, not rum. The British sailors preferred rum to brandy for drinking.

Well spotted, Jim!

By the way, Admiral Vernon, who lived five miles up the road from where we live, invented the watered down version of Rum called "Grog". Vernon was known as "Old Grog" because of the Grosgrain coat he always wore.. Yes I know I`ve told that before but we`ve had lots of new members since then!
