OK, I'm moved too :)
OK OK ~ smack - go to your rooms !
Not a chance. Tried for a G&T on the porch but I'm out of gin. Don't do vodka and tonics.

awww
Do you think if I poured some over your email address it would reach you??
I wish!
And since we're in spending freeze, I won't be replacing it anytime soon. Thank heavens my neighbor gave me a bottle of scotch when I lent her my car last week.

Gin? Smells like meths. Vodka? Tastes like meths. Tonic? Nice, helps to avoid malaria. I think that I'll stick with my homebrewed beer!
I don't often drink it but keep a bottle because a couple of friends do and I must admit sometimes on a snowy Sunday I like a sweet martini, Bombay Sapphire, Red Cinzano, ice and a cherry. I would willingly turn it over.
I rarely drink a beer, but in hot weather (such as we are having running up to the hurricane due on Sunday) a beer cut with ginger beer is tasty. I have some nice Jamaican ginger beer in the 'fridge. Maybe tomorrow.
That sounds lovely.. A cold beer would have worked yesterday too, just didn't think of the bottle of lager in the fridge. (DH does a brew party with work buddies about once a year.)

My sister used to have 2 elderly schnauzers and always had great results with oxyclean. Mix the powder in very hot water, then let it cool to just warm before using it to keep from setting stains. It works on hairballs, too. Just pick up the lump of hair with a tissue, blot away as much liquid as possible then soak with the oxyclean and blot with clean rags until dry, or use the oxyclean with a carpet cleaner.
I really hate walking to the bathroom at night & stepping on a wet hairball in my bare feet. Yuck!!!

I have a Little Green Machine, and it works very well on all sorts of spots on both floors and furniture. I often use it with just water rather than the regular cleaning solution, and have even used it with liquid SpicNSpan solution followed by plain water.
I have the Bissell LIttle Green Clean Machine. I bought it for cat accidents, but found it's GREAT for cleaning items like the bed comforter -- I do it right on the bed. Dries in a couple of hours. needlepoint throw pillows -- upholstered dining room chairs and bar stools --. I even surface clean my scatter rugs and toilet seat cover - anything which is not really dirty, but is a pain to cram into the washer and dryer which can beat it to death.
I'd love a carpet steamer but am thinking about ditching the carpet for those fake hardwood floors. Any comments on that?
