Hello Mirjam, It's 11pm here so I'm off to bed soon. I've been very lazy this evening after working late. I've got a lace scarf on the needles intended for my mother's birthday but I've only worked half a dozen rows tonight.

Hello Mirjam, and boo back to you!

It has been rather quiet apart from the spam mails lately hasn't it? Still, once the children are back to school I'm sure everyone will start posting and giving links across to pictures too.

When your exhibition is open will you be able to post a link to it - please?

This week I am hoping to finish that blue, lightweight jacket I mentioned to you a while back and will get pictures of it posted (hopefully) next week. Have you finished that lovely red sweater you started earlier this year, or has it been too hot for that?

Hi -- I am here but really crunched for time this week. In between things I am trying to finish a baby sweater I promised to a charity auction. It is a wrap cardigan for a wee one - ties to one side sort of like some of the little undershirts I used to put on mine when they were tiny. The construction was different in that I started with the back, added on for sleeves and then knit down the fronts increasing along the middle edge so that they overlap. I just sewed the underarm and side seams and will knit a contrasting edge up one front, across the back neck and down the other side. It is looking pretty good so far.

I am also mak> BOO YOHOOOO

Hi Mirjam It's 10:30 in the morning here..... Booo and Yoo Hoo to you (smile).

I'm just reading the new posts on the group, and getting ready to kick myself. Somedays I'm amazed that any of my knitting turns out well. I just finished a pair of socks for myself and tried the second one on my foot. Hmmmmm, it felt too loose. I just realized that while knitting the cuff with larger needles, I forgot to change to smaller needles to knit the rest of the sock. Now I'm trying to decide if I'll rip the sock back and reknit it. Oh well, I'm going to blame it on the forgetfulness of getting a little older. That's my story and I'm sticking to it (grin).

Went to our group Knit Out yesterday.... the story there will be on a separate post. ;>)
