My grandmother always had chicken feet and tiny unborn chicken eggs in her Friday night soup pot. I hated them.

I love duck or chicken feet. I found my eldest eating the canned dog food from the dog's dish one day, she was fine, I threw up.

Tee hee. One year at summer camp, the kids with whom I lived where pretty intolerable for a couple of weeks, driving their regular counselor nuts, and forcing me to have to do discipline stuff when I would see them at meals or in the evening. Anyhow, we fed a sweet feed in general for the stableful of
35 horses. Yes - along with specifics for the different animals. The sweet feed smelled fabulous, and was kept in a large wooden bin. The kids (13-14 year olds) were "helping" me at the stable one day (I think they'd been barred from the boating dock, so were sent to me for a couple of hours) and really liked how it smelled, etc. SO, the next time they were out of control, and had then been bugging me to bring them goodies from town - we decided to bag up some sweet feed and pass it off as granole. Yup - they ate it. Thought it a little rougher than their usual. You should have heard us explaining the large corn kernels in it, though. We didn't let them have too much. They didn't figure it out for a while - thankfully.Footnote, the nicest kid in the group - she's a casting director in Hollywood, and the little sister of the actor Billy Zane. Billy is a couple of years older than me - his dad was a cardiologist - and always did 2 weeks as the camp physician. Very nice family. Billy looks just like his mom.
LOL - I can barely eat chicken if it has bones.
