Interesting yarn, but too wordy. I skipped entire paragraphs and pages. Many direct quotes in Greek, Icelandic - see what I mean?
I'm almost thru it, but would never read it again.
Just reread "The Fixer" (Bernard Malamud) - it's an old fave I open about every 5 years.
